Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Adrianne Frost is a NYC based performer and writer.
Adrianne has been writing & performing improv, stand up & original characters for over 20 years. She has appeared on The Daily Show, Best Week Ever, Late Night With Conan O'Brien and in many other TV shows and films.
Adrianne’s first humor book, I Hate Other People’s Kids, was published by Simon & Schuster It is already in its third printing and is being printed in six countries. She is featured in The 2004 Signet Book of American Humor, and Rejected, based on the popular “The Rejection Show”. Her prose piece “Easter Is Cancelled” was taught as part of the Creative Writing program at Portland State University. Adrianne writes for Millennium Magazine, Pet Lifestyles Magazine, and Comedywire. She has also written for Link AKC, Ask E. Jean, News Makeup, Funny Not Slutty and “The Early Works Series”, was published on McSweeney’s. It was also featured as one of "Seven Sites You Should Be Wasting Time On" by Huffpost Comedy!
Most recently, Adrianne was a winner at the acclaimed storytelling series “The Moth” and was in the critically acclaimed movie “After Everything”. Other films include “Ticking Clock”, “Lovehunter” and “Bert And Arnie’s Guide To Friendship”. She appeared on VH-1’s Best Week Ever for three seasons, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and was one of the stars of TNN’s Lifegame, based on the Off-Broadway hit. She has appeared on Bull, Nurse Jackie, 30 Rock, NBC’s Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Fox’s Good Day Live, NBC’s Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and The Dr. Oz Show. Adrianne was one of the co-hosts on The Jay Thomas Show on The Sirius Stars Network on Sirius Satellite Radio. She has also appeared on NBC’s The Today Show, CNN’s Showbiz Tonight, and The Glenn Beck Show as herself.
She has taught and performed improv all over the world and been in dozens of national commercials.
